Our Mission

  • Sewing patterns were designed to be creative tools, to be used. Personal collections of vintage patterns are wonderfulβ€”for one person. Our goal is to share these beautiful and quirky creative tools with the widest audience possible.

  • The idea is that for a membership fee, members are allowed to borrow two patterns at a time for four weeks. Patterns come with a pre-paid return envelope. When you finish with your pattern, simply pop it back in the mail for someone else to borrow and enjoy. When possible, we loan original patterns. If a pattern has been deemed too fragile, you may borrow a copy of the original.

  • My name is Sarah Moser. I am married to my husband of fourteen years, David. We have three beautiful and wild children. My husband is in the Air Force, so we have lived many places, but we currently reside in California. I learned to sew from my mother and enjoyed sewing all through high school and college. Once I had children, sewing really moved to the backburner. As my children went to school, the desire to return to vintage sewing reignited. I purchased an incredible collection of vintage patterns from a retiring seamstress and the vision for the pattern lending library was born!
